A MULTIMILLIONAIRE businesswoman accused of having sex with an underage boy has begged to be released from jail because her company is losing money.
Savannah Daisley, 48, last month swapped her luxury £5.6m waterfront mansion in Sydney for a jail cell in one of Australia’s most notorious prisons.
The celeb weight loss guru and daughter of famous horse breeder Ross Daisley allegedly had sex with the 14-year-old boy four times in one day after a drunken fling in May last year.
Daisley was remanded in custody last month charged with four counts of aggravated sexual intercourse with a child aged between 14 and 16.
The Instagram influencer’s alleged crimes took place over a 24-hour period from 5pm on May 19, 2021.
Authorities allege she was “highly intoxicated” when the alleged crimes occurred.
On her Instagram feed, Daisley has alluded to her previous struggles with alcohol.
She is now begging to be released on bail from Syndey’s notorious Silverwater Women’s maximum security jail, around 20km from her sprawling seaside mansion.
On Monday, she applied for bail at Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court, offering up bail of $100,000 AUS (£58k) as security.
She claims that her mental health is suffering in her grimy cell, and complains that her successful detox business is losing “millions of dollars” while she remains locked up.
The Smart Cleanse founder’s lawyers told the court that Daisley should also be released because her mother has ovarian cancer.
Daisley has said she is willing to report daily to police from her home in Sydney’s exclusive Longueville district.
Her father, who has previously offered to pay $10,000 AUS (£5.8k) in bail to have his daughter released, was in court at her hearing.
Ross Daisley is a famous breeder of the thoroughbred racehorse Choisir, which became an international champion after winning at the prestigious Royal Ascot and Newmarket races in 2003.
Daisley has denied all the charges against her but is yet to formally enter any pleas.
Police say they have evidence that she admitted to kissing the teenager after they legally tapped her phone.
The lifestyle entrepreneur, who has some 40,000 followers on Instagram, will appear in court next on August 23.
Daisley founded her detox firm Smart Cleanse in 2014, promising a 14-day program that helps clients reduce stress, lose weight and “reverse ageing”.
As well as the program, she went on to launch a Smart Cleanse cooking channel, detox book and digital courses.
A number of celebs began to swear by her program, including Neighbours star Jodi Gordan, who featured in a video promotion for the company in June last year.
Silverwater Women’s Correctional Centre is home to some of Australia’s most notorious female convicts.
They include Jessica Camilleri, who beheaded her mum, serial child killer Kathleen Folbigg, Sharyn Ward, who slowly murdered her nine-year-old through starvation, and terrorist plotter Alo-Bridget Namoa.
Also housed there is cannibal killer Rebecca Butterfield, who skinned, and decapitated her husband and then cooked his head with vegetables and gravy.
