The sports giant Decathlon continues to add to the Mexican
market thanks to DHL Supply Chain and moves to a new logistics hub south of
Tepotzotlán, in the State of Mexico.
As confirmed by
the company of French origin, the goal is for this warehouse to supply 15
stores nationwide by the end of 2022.
“It is with great emotion that we celebrate the opening of our new logistics warehouse, hand in hand with our valuable allies DHL Supply Chain. This new project will allow us to double our storage capacity, guaranteeing the timely delivery of our products,” Decathlon shared on Monday 11 July.
Company data confirms that the complex is 25,000sq m in size, and its loading and unloading area extends to 14 platforms and its interior also includes six meeting rooms.
In parallel, the
brand new logistics warehouse of Decathlon Mexico contributes to the global
sustainability goals of the French company, eliminating 16 million kilograms of
CO2 through different initiatives, including the reuse of materials.
