Truth be told, nobody expected Ukraine to perform this well. Equipment is one thing, but equipment will never be a substitute for morale and skill. They’re fighting like lions.
And before someone says that Ukrainians knew this is gonna turn out like this – hell no, majority of Ukrainians didn’t know it. Most people expected Zelensky to run or give up, alongside majority of Ukrainian political elite. However, not only Zelensky stayed, practically all MPs and whole government stayed too. It gave a huge morale and confidence boost to Ukrainians.
