A Statistics Canada report finds the unemployment rate in the country dropped to a new low in April with 5.2 per cent.
Economists say this means labour markets are getting tighter, with less job seekers in the labour pool for employers to hire. But experts also say the tightness we’re seeing has likely reached its peak.
