Severe storms swept through the southern U.S. on Wednesday, bringing with them tornadoes that tore through parts of Oklahoma and Texas.
Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt said that damage was being assessed in places like Seminole, but it was “fortunate” there was no loss of life and no significant injuries “that we know of.”
Parts of the state were still without power by the next day and it is expected the storms will continue to blow through Texas and parts of the U.S. South on Thursday.
