JEFFREY Epstein’s paedo palace Zorro Ranch still hasn’t sold as buyers are put off its sordid history and £20million asking price.
The sprawling New Mexico property has struggled to find a buyer since it went on the market more than eight months ago.
The 10,000-acre desert estate was one of many homes used by the disgraced ex-financier to traffic and molest underage girls with the help of his “pimp” girlfriend and convicted sex predator Ghislaine Maxwell.
The Duke of York is also reported have stayed there during a seven-day in 2000.
The eerie mansion – located 35 miles from Santa Fe – was put up for sale in July last year for a whopping $27m (£20.7m).
The Sun Online understands after talking to locals that buyers are keeping away due to its murky past and exorbitant price.
“Epstein‘s reputation will certainly place a stigma on his former Santa Fe property,” Trayor Lesnock, head of Platinum Luxury Auctions, which sells high-end property in the US, told The Sun Online.
“The degree of that can only be accurately priced by the buying market.”
Lesnock says realtors tend to “big up” former owners as a selling point for potential buyers.
“It’s a more personal connection to the asset. That blade can cut both ways.”
Epstein’s alleged ‘sex slave’ Virginia Giuffre claimed she was “lent out” to the sex beast’s influential pals at the property when she was just 17.
During a stay at the ranch, Virginia claims Epstein offered to pay her to have a baby that he and his Brit socialite lover could bring up.
Epstein allegedly offered the teen a mansion and a monthly allowance to go through with the grotesque deal, according to court papers – but she never went through with it.
In a trove of court papers, released hours before Epstein’s jail suicide, Virginia claimed Prince Andrew visited the New Mexico ranch.
And photos of Prince Andrew with his paedo pal were scattered around the shamed tycoon’s notorious “sex” ranch.
Insiders reveal the New Mexico hideaway was home to galleries of pictures of the dead fiend with his many famous and powerful pals.
They say the multi-millionaire liked to boast about his A-list inner circle and there were a “bunch of pictures” of the under-fire royal hanging on the walls.
Epstein even had an X-rated portrait of a nude Ghislaine Maxwell with her legs wide open as the centrepiece of an “underage party pool”.
The painting overlooked a pool and group hot tub, according to a former IT adviser who worked on Epstein’s “internet, security and communications”.
“There was this huge painting of Ghislaine naked with her legs open, six foot by six foot. She was on a chair, leaning back, with her legs open,” the consultant said.
“You could see everything. She would definitely have posed for that. It was in the basement by the pool.
“But he had so many photos, there were pictures everywhere. John Travolta, Bill Clinton, and there were a bunch of photos of Prince Andrew in the house.
“He liked to brag about the people he knew.”
Elsewhere, Epstein’s property is alleged to have had an underground strip club and an eight person shower.
He added: “There was one room that was just sex-obsessed, where everything, from the embroidered pillows, couches, statues and sculptures were nude women, couples having sex or fertility statues.”
The ranch is one of several Epstein’s homes where underage girls were flown in from all around the world.
It comes as the new owner of Epstein’s infamous Palm Beach mansion – where he lured underage girls before abusing them – had it torn down.
The waterfront property was bought by Florida real estate developer Todd Michael Glaser for $18 million, with the money now due to be dished out to Epstein’s victims.
Glaser had the six-bedroom home bulldozed to make way for a new mansion in its place.
And Epstein’s Upper East Side townhouse in New York sold in 2021 for a fraction of its market value.
Ex-Goldman Sachs exec Michael Daffey bought the seven-storey mansion for $51m – a staggering $37m under the selling price, according to Town & Country.
And Epstein’s paedo lair near Santa Fe has laid empty since his death in prison in 2019, with just a handful employees staying on site to maintain the property.
It was once the playground for the convicted sex offender and his ‘madam’, Ghislaine, who reportedly threw lavish dinner parties and frolicked in the indoor pool with famous visitors.
The ranche includes a 26,700-square-foot mansion, an indoor pool, log cabin, stables, and even its own airstrip, along with an antique railroad car and train tracks.
It made notoriety when Epstein sex-abuse survivor Virginia Giuffre was pictures under a large metal “Z” hanging from the property’s front gate.
Epstein reportedly had the warped idea of using the ranch for inseminating women with his sperm with the aim of creating a ‘master race’.
He wanted up to 20 women to be pregnant with his children at a time – in a bizarre sci-fi-like plot to improve the human race with his genes, the New York Times said.
Multiple sources told the paper that convicted paedophile Epstein would boast of his sick plans at champagne-fuelled parties.
He apparently began sharing his vision for his 33,000sq ft Zorro Ranch in the early 2000s.
He would allegedly tell scientists and businessmen he wanted it to be turned into his own personal baby-making factory.
Plans of the property, previously obtained by The Sun, revealed a huge underground floor, around 8,000 sq ft in size, which includes exercise, massage and jacuzzi rooms, later transformed into a pool area.
They also show three unusually large “mechanical rooms” on this lower floor.
Marie Farmer, who also survived Epstein sexual abuse, claims the rooms, usually for a boiler and electrics, were packed with the paedo and Maxwell’s computers and video equipment for his spying network.
She told The Sun: “All of Epstein’s residences had these mechanical rooms and tunnel systems. I know this because Epstein told me.
“These rooms were enormous – bigger than houses. I have no idea why anyone needs so many computers in one room.
“There were pinhole cameras to record everything on every estate. The cameras were ubiquitous. You couldn’t see them unless they were pointed out to you.”
Epstein had many guests at his ranch over the years, including Prince Andrew, who allegedly vacationed there with his neurosurgeon “friend” Dr Melanie Walker, whom former Zorro housekeeper Deidre Stratton described as “beautiful, young and brilliant”.
Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing over his relationship with Epstein – and settled a civil case earlier this year with Virginia.
The vile New Yorker purchased the ranch from Gary King – New Mexico’s attorney general at the time – in 1993 and leased out two parcels of land to the state.
The land office cancelled a lease agreement for the 1,200 acres of land after Epstein’s sordid sexual acts were exposed in 2019.
Epstein was found dead in his prison cell after committing suicide in August that year while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges.
The convicted paedo molested hundreds of girls over several decades across multiple properties he owned and even had an island named after his sinister crimes.
