Listing of the Day
Location: East Cape of Los Cabos, Mexico
Price: $4.95 million
This three-bedroom condo is one of 22 new Marina Residences at the 1,000-acre Costa Palmas resort community on the secluded East Cape of the Baja Peninsula, along the Sea of Cortez.
“I’ve stayed in all of the units, and my family enjoyed this one as the best of anything we have,” said Michael Radovan, managing director of Costa Palmas. “You’re on a corner and you have immediate access to the docks.”
“Because you’re on a corner, the outdoor spaces are much larger than the other units,” he said. “It’s almost twice as much outdoor space.”

This unit, Residence 02-11, is on the ground floor, with two more units upstairs, on the second and third floors of the condo-style building. It is being sold fully furnished. The Marina Residences are managed by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
The condo has an open-plan great room with a kitchen and living and dining areas that open to the outdoor spaces and face out to the marina and the water.
“The view of the marina is like a portrait that’s constantly changing,” Mr. Radovan said. “You have a constant view of boats moving through your living room.”
The primary bedroom suite also has views of the marina, he said. The middle bedroom is set up with two double beds and the back bedroom is “almost a junior primary suite.”
Depending on the season, the unit would rent in the $5,000 to $10,000 a night range, Mr. Radovan said.
Stats
The 2,474-square-foot residence has three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one partial bathroom. There is also 960 square feet of exterior space.
Amenities
The condo has a plunge pool integrated into the patio. Resort amenities include a 2-mile-long swimmable beach, golf, restaurants, the Costa Palmas Beach & Yacht Club, the Marina Village, and 18 acres of orchards and farms.
Neighborhood Notes
The unit is immediately adjacent to the Four Seasons Resort, Mr. Radovan said. “It’s a 30-second walk to one of the restaurants and two minutes to the gym, one minute to the beach, which is so big and calm.”
“It’s really integrated into the campus, but it’s tucked away, very private,” he said. “You have no hotel traffic walking by.”
On the East Cape, “you’re 100 kilometers north of the tip of the Baja Peninsula, which also means you’re 100 kilometers from the turbulent waters of the Pacific Ocean,” he said. “The water is calm and warm here, more like the water conditions of the Caribbean. For nine months of the year, the water is over 80 degrees [Fahrenheit].”
Costa Palmas is 45 minutes from the Los Cabos International Airport, according to the listing.
