Three men who were paralyzed from the waist down are walking again, even swimming and biking, after a nerve-stimulation device gave them the ability to move their legs again, researchers reported on Monday.
The device was revealed this week and uses electronic implants and artificial intelligence software to help paraplegic patients gain back their autonomy, with them able to help their own movements using a touchpad device.
