Grocery stores across the country saw a steep rise in dairy prices on Tuesday, with price tags in some provinces increasing by as much as 15 per cent.
The dramatic price hike will affect anyone who drinks milk, but consumer advocates say it will hit low-income and food-insecure families the hardest.
