Robin Edwards and her husband Russell have been married for over 23 years. They will celebrate their 24th anniversary on Christmas day, 2009. They have three wonderful children and live in beautiful Pecos, New Mexico. Pecos is a VERY small town of about 1,500 people. It is located approximately 25 miles outside of Santa Fe. They live on 5 acres of what they call “heaven” with their 2 dogs and 2 cats.” It is a wonderful place to raise kids and to retire.”
Robin was the Program Director of a non-profit agency in Santa Fe. She started with the agency in 1990 as the Administrative Assistant and worked her way up. About a year ago, she started looking for a way to make extra income on the internet. She wanted to be able to retire early and make a full time living while working at home.When Robin lost her job on September 30, 2008, after 30 years in business, the agency closed due to lack of funding. The nation’s dismal economic condition didn’t just affect Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac it also took its toll on small businesses. The loss of her job was totally unexpected and came at a very bad time.
While Robin was working as the Program Director for the non-profit agency, Russell decided to start his own home-based business.He loves being in the outdoors and they live in a beautiful part of the country.
Russell decided to create a business that combined his love of the outdoors with tourism. R and R ATV, LLC was born. They invested in new all terrain vehicles (ATVs), yellow page advertising, signs, business cards, a website, etc. In retrospect, it was too much, too soon. They were very optimistic that the business would boom. But, again, the nation’s economy began to have severe problems and their business did not grow as expected. They quickly created a mountain of debt,so much debt that it would take years to eliminate it if they simply continued to work normal jobs. While exploring the internet for business opportunities to replace her job and to supplement their income, they found many companies that promised massive income opportunities. Robin joined three of them and failed miserably. She paid huge membership fees expecting to make her money back ten-fold in a short amount of time. However, she did not receive the support and training she needed to be successful.
Then, about 3 months ago, Robin found an opportunity that stood out from all of the many other business opportunities on the internet because it was affordable, something she knew they could do (and not feel embarrassed to tell others they were doing it), and had an amazing compensation plan. The program offered three entry levels, making the initial investment one that they could comfortably afford.
It was a business that Robin could easily start part-time while she left her Program Director position. And, it was a business that would generate the income they needed to dig themselves out of debt. Little did she know that she would soon be unemployed at the time that she found one. After watching the informational video,she received an email invitation from her sponsor to attend an overview call. She accepted the invitation and attended the call. That is when Robin decided that this was the home-based business she was looking for and joined right away.
She quickly found out that they provided a tremendous amount of support. It also has its own training, marketing and support website and provides several training and marketing calls weekly.
