Despite the surge of Omicron infections and a lack of immunity for kids, British Columbia and Alberta students have resumed in-person learning.
Meanwhile, for students in central and eastern Canada, classes are virtual for at least one more week.
It’s a relief for some parents and children – but there are no guarantees schools will stay open, with parents being told to prepare themselves for a sudden switch to online learning at any time.
